كيف يحوّل التكرار المتباعد الحفظ

Aug 28, 2026

لماذا المراجعة في الوقت المناسب أفضل من التكرار اللانهائي — وكيف يجدولها دار الهدى.

Memorising the Qur’an is not only about how many pages you add — it is about what you still hold. Spaced repetition is a simple idea with a powerful effect: review each portion just as you are about to forget it.

Why endless repetition plateaus

Repeating the same page twenty times in one sitting can feel productive, then fade within days. Your brain encodes “I know this right now,” not “I will know this next week.”

Hifz that lasts needs revisits spaced across days and weeks, with older material returning before it disappears.

The right moment to review

New lines need frequent review. Stable Juz need lighter, scheduled check-ins. If everything feels urgent, your schedule is too flat.

DaarulHuda’s Hifz tracker is built around this rhythm — so you spend energy where retention is weakest, not only where the Mushaf is newest.

A practical weekly pattern

Keep one block for new memorisation, one for recent pages, and one for older Juz. Protect the review block even when new pages feel more exciting.

End each session by noting what felt shaky. Those lines should appear again tomorrow — not “sometime later.”

Test without the page

Hidden-verse practice forces recall instead of recognition. Cover the text, recite, then reveal only when you are stuck.

That small friction is what turns familiarity into memorisation you can trust in salah and in class.
